HORMONE LABORATORY

The Unit provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services: endocrinology, nutrition, psychological assessment and hormone testing. Our philosophy is to ensure the holistic support of our patients so that they attain and maintain good physical and mental health.

The Unit’s fully equipped laboratory performs diagnostic-level hormone assays (thyroid, bone function, metabolism, gonadal function, adrenal function, assessment of pituitary insufficiency, etc.). These assays are used for the routine evaluation of paediatric patients and for the adult patients of our Unit. The Unit also has an extensive research record, which has produced numerous publications in international and Greek scientific journals and in conference proceedings.
